The Tangerines, who have to go back to December 21 to find their last victory, took the lead on 28 minutes with a well-worked goal. Flying full-back Andy Robertson was the creator as he burst into the Jags’ box, had a chance to shoot but instead squared to Farid El Alagui. The Frenchman showed composure and skill to drill a low shot into the net. Thistle levelled on 76 minutes, though, when a slip by United captain Stuart Armstrong gave Gary Fraser more room than he should have had. Fraser took a touch before firing in a low shot that spun into the net after hitting former Jag Paul Paton on the way.
