Dundee fan banned from Dens Park after being accused of running on to track

A Dundee FC fan has been banned from attending any games at Dens Park after appearing in court charged with running on to the track during Saturday’s match against Hamilton.

Jamie Gilchrist, 20, of Forth Crescent, denies that on February 8, at Dens Park, he behaved in a disorderly manner, ran from the South Road enclosure and jumped a wall on to the pitchside track, and caused a breach of the peace.

Trial was set down for May 21 with an intermediate diet on May 7 and he was granted bail on the condition he does not enter or attempt to enter Dens Park.
