One man was trapped in the crash, on the northbound carriageway of the A92 between Dundee and Arbroath, near the East Haven turn-off. He was cut free by firefighters who attended from Arbroath and Carnoustie. A trauma team also arrived on scene just before 2pm. The accident was cleared shortly before 4pm.
