Forfar boss Dick Campbell admits he will take substance over style as the club look to secure a precious play-off spot.
The Loons travelled to Gayfield last week to face struggling Arbroath and ran out 3-2 winners.
Now Campbell is looking for his team to build on that win when they travel to Stenhousemuir as they attempt to cut the gap on Ayr, who occupy the last play-off position.
The manager said: “At this crucial stage of the season, I am not too bothered how we get points as long as we do so.
“I am surprised to see Arbroath struggling at the moment, but we were just determined to take all three points.
“We scored three great goals and I think we did enough to deserve the win overall. We now have a difficult game at Stenhousemuir.
“I watched them play Airdrie during the week and they are a decent side. They will also be boosted by last Saturday’s draw at Ibrox.
“However, we are firmly focused on attaining a play-off spot. With Rangers and Dunfermline being full-time clubs, they were always going to be at the top of the league.
“There are currently seven points between ourselves and Ayr in fourth, but a win at Stenny would hopefully close that gap.
“We have reached the play-offs three times in the last four seasons and I believe we can get there again in what has already been a great campaign for us.”
Martyn Fotheringham is a doubt for the game after suffering from a cold all week.
