Kyle Letheren has admitted he is hoping Dundee can collect a perfect 10 to seal Championship glory.
The Dark Blues regained the winning habit on Saturday, beating bottom-placed Morton 2-0 at Dens to bounce back from last weekend’s disappointing defeat at second-bottom side Cowdenbeath.
Paul Hartley’s men still hold a slender one-point lead at the top of the table ahead of nearest challengers Hamilton and have three more than Falkirk in third.
All three promotion hopefuls won at the weekend and the title race seems destined to go right down to the wire.
However, Letheren knows that if Dundee can be victorious in all their remaining 10 games there is nothing Accies or the Bairns can do to stop them winning the league and automatic promotion to the Premiership.
Letheren said: “We’re just going to focus on ourselves. That’s what we’ve said in the dressing-room. If we win 10 more games we’ll be champions and get promoted. That’s our aim. We’re aiming for 10 wins out of 10.
“It’s in our own hands. There will be ups and downs in games but we’ve just got to look after ourselves and remain positive.
“It’s a bit frustrating we’ve not got a game next weekend but we thoroughly deserved the win over Morton and will look to build on it.”
