The incident happened around 12.39pm near Abernyte Parish Church. A spokesperson for the Scottish Ambulance Service said the man had become trapped between a tractor and its bucket. He was freed by firefighters using hydraulic cutting equipment and taken to Ninewells Hospital, Dundee by ambulance. A trauma team was also in attendance at the scene. A spokesperson for Police Scotland’s Tayside Division said his injuries were not thought to be life threatening.
