Arbroath v East Fife: Gary Fisher facing spell on sidelines
ByCraig Smith
East Fife expect to be without Gary Fisher for around six weeks after the midfielder dislocated his elbow at the weekend.
The former Kilmarnock man was substituted mid-way through the first half of Saturday’s 1-0 loss to Rangers after suffering the injury when he landed awkwardly competing for a high ball.
Medics have since confirmed that no surgery will be required but Fisher will be out for several weeks to allow the arm to heal properly.
The Fifers, sitting in ninth spot in League One, face a potentially crucial fixture away to bottom club Arbroath.
