Soaring high above the Perthshire landscape, this is the pilot’s eye view of Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance.
The crew of Helimed 76 recently acquired a GoPro helmet-mounted camera, which is commonly used by cyclists and sports enthusiasts.
They filmed a mercy dash from their base at Scone Airport to Glenshee, where they came to the aid of an injured skier.
The journey of several minutes has been condensed into less than a minute and shows the landscape gradually change from lush greenery to snowy whiteness as the helicopter nears its destination.
The helicopter was responding to an injured skier at Glenshee who was airlifted to Ninewells Hospital. They landed on the nursery slopes as the car park was full.
It took 14 minutes to fly from Scone to Glenshee (27 nautical miles) and 15 minutes from there to Ninewells.
