As the Angus sun shone, hosts of young voices sparkled on the third day of the Arbroath Music Festival.
School choirs from across the county took to the stage of the Webster Memorial Theatre as part of Wednesday’s packed programme, a number of them showcasing their talents with renditions of modern pop in pursuit of silverware.
Honours marks are remaining an elusive outcome in the 82nd festival so far, but in the morning’s junior singing recital Arbroath’s Isabella Robb found the route to success with her rendition of the Path to the Moon to secure a prized 90, following it up with an impressive 89 to lift the Arbroath Music Festival trophy.
