‘You can see everything!’ watch how teenagers react to private posts going public

How does it feel to find out your ‘private’ life on the internet is public?

If the reaction of these Scottish teenagers is anything to go by, the answer would seem to be “OMG!”.

As part of Police Scotland’s Stay Safe Online campaign, the youngsters were shown how posts they thought could only be accessed by friends could in fact be available for anyone to see.

The campaign is targeting teens with advice on how to be web savvy and avoid the dangers of cyber-bullying and sexting.

It aims to help children, parents, teachers and carers improve their knowledge and understanding of how to keep children safe while they are online.
