Dundee United appoint David McGrory to Tannadice board

Dundee United have announced the appointment of David McGrory to the club board as a non-executive director.

The life-long Tangerines fan is a partner in the corporate team of leading UK commercial law firm Maclay Murray & Spens LLP and he assisted the club during their recent financial restructuring exercise.

Chairman Stephen Thompson commented: “This appointment will further strengthen the board, particularly in the areas of specialism in which David operates on a day-to-day basis.

“His business and professional experience will be of great benefit to the club and, indeed, has already been used to good effect.

“His appointment ensures that the board has a wide range of specialist and complementary skills and is well equipped to deal with the post financial restructuring environment.”
