Accident near Broxden roundabout disrupts morning traffic around Perth

An accident on the Perth bypass caused frustrating delays for motorists this morning.

The crash happened close to the Broxden roundabout on the southbound stretch to the Craigend interchange.

Significant queues built up after a blue Ford Focus collided with the central reservation at around 6.50.

No-one was injured in the incident, but recovery work meant the carriageway had to be closed for over an hour

Tailbacks stretched back for around a mile as traffic began to build towards its rush hour peak.

The road was eventually fully reopened at around 8.10am.
