Michael Gracie, 51, of New Cottages, Springfield, admitted defying the court ban him which prevented him from contacting or seeing Samantha-Jo Thorpe. The Abertay University student was discovered dead in her flat on March 27. There were no suspicious circumstances. Gracie had admitted that on various occasions between January 16 and March 11, he contacted Samantha-Jo Thorpe by sending her messages. He also admitted, on various occasions between January 19 and March 1, at Opal, Parker Street, Dundee, to being in her company.
