Police divers search for missing Glenrothes man Allan Bryant
ByThe Courier Reporter
The search for a missing Glenrothes man is continuing in the town.
Police divers were at Stenton Pond, in the south of the town, as part of the investigation into the disappearance of Allan Bryant Jr.
The 24-ar-old has not been seen since leaving Styx nightclub on Caskieberran Road during the early hours of Sunday November 3.
Despite a high-profile investigation by police and numerous appeals by his family, no trace of Allan has been found.
Divers have been scouring rivers and ponds for signs of Allan, although his parents, Allan Snr and Marie, have repeatedly said that they fear the worst has happened to their son.
Police Scotland have repeatedly said that there remains no evidence of criminality in Allan’s disappearance and Glenrothes Inspector Derek Paxton told The Courier that Tuesday’s search was the latest part of its investigation, with officers continuing to explore all lines of inquiry.
