Stadium rockers Kasabian are to play two dates in Courier country before they headline Glastonbury 2014.
The band will play Dunfermline on Thursday May 22, with a follow-up gig the next night at the Caird Hall in Dundee.
Kasabian are one of Britain’s top stadium bands, and this is the first time that Kasabian have performed in Fife.
The gigs will form part of their 2014 tour, which will see the band headlining stadiums and festivals, such as Benicassim in Europe.
Alhambra Theatre spokeswoman Claire Fletcher said: “We are thrilled that Kasabian are performing at the Alhambra Theatre, and in Fife, for the very first time.
“This is set to be Fife’s biggest ever gig, and a huge coup for the venue to be playing host to Kasabian.
“We are sure this will be a fantastic event for Fife and beyond, and tickets are certain to be in high demand.”
Tickets go on sale from May 2 at 9am.
