A May crime crackdown has led to three people being taken into custody following the discovery of a cannabis farm in Cupar.
Officers, acting on information provided by members of the public about suspicious drug-related activity, executed a drugs search warrant at an undisclosed property.
Following the search, plants and other equipment were seized. The drugs had a street value of £4,500.
A report is to be sent to the procurator fiscal at Cupar.
Police Scotland Sergeant Gary Combe, said: “This is a good result as part of our ongoing campaign, Operation Tusker and another example of Police Scotland’s commitment to tackle illicit drug abuse and remove drugs from the streets of our local communities.
“I hope this acts as a warning and deters others.”
Police Scotland want members of the public to report any suspicious activity on 101 or through the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
