VIDEO: Thousands pack City Square to celebrate Dundee’s title win

Dundee FC had their day of delight as the SPFL Championship winners celebrated their success in front of thousands of fans.
City Square was filled with cheering, dark blue-clad spectators as their heroes paraded the league championship trophy from the City Chambers balcony.
Players took turns to hoist the trophy to rapturous applause from the gathering estimated at 3000. But the biggest cheers were for captain Gavin Rae and manager Paul Hartley for delivering the prize which was not assured until the final whistle of the last game of the season.Click here for a full photo galleryIt was a time to celebrate after the long and demanding campaign, and anticipate the excitement ahead when Dundee return to the Scottish Premiership.
