Dundee United’s Andrew Robertson retains place in Scotland squad

Dundee United’s Andy Robertson has won another call-up to Gordon Strachan’s Scotland squad for the glamour friendly with Nigeria in London at the end of this month.
The full-back, who spent last season with part-timers Queen’s Park, has had a meteoric rise since arriving at Tannadice in the summer, becoming a virtual ever present in Jackie McNamara’s side, attracting interest from a host of top clubs including Everton and winning his first full international cap against Poland in March.
His performance in that friendly drew lavish praise from national boss Strachan and Scotland’s Young Player of the Year is now set to be given another chance to shine against the Super Eagles at Fulham’s Craven Cottage on May 28.
There is also a place in the Scotland squad for former Dundee favourite Craig Forsyth.
The athletic defender has been winning rave reviews this season for Derby County, who on Sunday made it through to the English Championship play-off final at Wembley after defeating Brighton.
However, Strachan has once again overlooked St Johnstone striker Stevie May, despite the fact the Saints player has netted an incredible 27 goals this season.
