Fans’ favourite Ned Lukacevic has been re-signed by Fife Flyers.
The left winger impressed after joining the Kirkcaldy ice hockey club midway through last season. Lukacevic collected 44 points from 34 games for Flyers, scoring 15 goals.
The club’s associate coach, Danny Stewart, said: “Ned was a big part of our success last season and, when he is on his game, he makes our forward set-up much more dynamic.
“There are not many players in this league that have his individual skill and if we can get that out of him night in night out then we and the fans should expect to see a big year from him.”
The player said: “Flyers and the whole community of Kirkcaldy are like a second home to me.
“I’m particularly excited to pick up where we left off last season and bring that same type of success to this season. I am excited about next season and want to challenge for silverware.”
