Visitors to a luxury hotel in Perthshire are now guaranteed a five-star stay.
Fonab Castle Hotel has been awarded the top rating by VisitScotland for offering an “exceptional standard” and is only the fifth hotel in the area to achieve this.
Based on the banks of Loch Faskally, near Pitlochry, the hotel opened last year and has already hosted a visit by Hollywood star, Alan Cumming.

VisitScotland regional director Jim Clarkson also praised the work of the hotel team.

The benefits of this five-star award will be reaped not only by Fonab Castle Hotel, but also by their customers and, by extension, Scottish tourism as a whole.”
