Claverhouse Rotary Club are gearing up for their annual Dundee Cyclathon.
This year’s charity event will be held on September 14 and the organisers have launched their campaign to attract entrants.
Cyclists can either raise money for the club’s nominated charity, Cash for Kids, or for one of their own choosing.
It is reckoned that around £30,000 was donated to good causes last year.
Cyclathon coordinator Ian Balgowan said: “We are delighted to continue our close association with Cash for Kids as they help us achieve maximum impact with the funds that we raise through the event.”
The ride starts and ends at Camperdown Park and follows the 26-mile Green Circular route.
It is not a race and participants can take the journey at their own pace.
Everyone who finishes receives a commemorative medal.
TV presenter Lorraine Kelly and Tay FM’s Stuart Webster and Erin Linton have already given their support to the cyclathon.
