Midfielder Gary Harkins has returned to Dundee for a third spell with the club.
The 29-year-old initially joined the Dark Blues in 2009 from Partick Thistle before moving to Kilmarnock after Dundee entered administration.
He picked up the League Cup during his time at Rugby Park before coming back to Dens Park in 2013 to help in the relegation battle.
Harkins joined St Mirren following Dundee’s drop to the Championship and has spent time on loan at Oldham Athletic before joining the Dark Blues for a third time.
Manager Paul Hartley has said he is ‘delighted to get him in.’
He told the club’s official website, “It’s another quality player for us. He knows the club after a good period here.”
“I’m a long-time admirer of him and I’m looking forward to working with him.” You can never have enough good midfielders. He’ll add a lot of creativity.”
