Tayside Commonwealth Games competitors Sian Bruce and Drew Christie had their first look at the shooting facilities at Barry Buddon.
Dundonian Sian and Drew, from Auchterhouse, will compete for Scotland in skeet shooting events at the Games later this month.
The army base at Barry Buddon, by Carnoustie, has been transformed into a top class sporting facility, to host five days of shooting from July 25 to 29.
20-year-old Sian is competing in her first Games, while Drew is hoping to go at least one place better after a fourth place finish in the 2010 Games in Delhi.
Competition manager Peter Underwood, in charge of planning and delivering the shooting events, said everything was on schedule with work on the shooting ranges complete.
Some of the equipment used at the London 2012 Olympics has been brought to Angus for the event.
