FC Luzern 1 St Johnstone 1: Saints in great shape to progress
ByIan Roache
In the shadow of the Alps, St Johnstone once again scaled the heights to remain unbeaten away from home in European competition under boss Tommy Wright.
After wins in Norway and Belarus last season, it was a bit much to expect a hat-trick of successes on the road in continental competition.
Nevertheless, this was still a great result for the wily Wright and his well-drilled players.

Striker Marco Schneuwly got one back for the Swiss on 67 minutes but yet another superb effort from Wright’s team saw them through.
