The youngster was initially taken to Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy following the accident near Pettycur Bay holiday park in Kinghorn at around 5.50pm. The force of the impact resulted in the front windscreen of the double decker being smashed. Bus owners Stagecoach said they would be assisting the police with their investigations in any way they could.
