Jane Sullivan was found dead by a friend on the evening of August 21. The 40-year-old had formerly taught at Moncrieffe Primary School in the city.
At the time of her death Ms Sullivan was subject to an alcohol treatment order imposed by the courts.

Ms Sullivan was due to face education bosses at a procedural hearing in front of the GTCS last Tuesday to consider an application to hold a full hearing against her in private.
A GTCS spokesman said they did not comment on individual cases.
Ms Sullivan’s mother Wilma Murray, who runs a guest house in Perth, said she was a “wonderful” daughter.
She added that the family were not yet sure of the cause of death.
Her brother Jamie said Ms Sullivan had been battling “demons” for years.
He said: “My sister was a hard-working girl up until about five years ago when her marriage disintegrated and she just got involved with the wrong sort of people after that.
“Then the drink got involved. My family has had a really tough time of it, trying to patch her together.
“We’re not really sure what’s happened. It’s come back a bit inconclusive.”
Ms Sullivan’s funeral will be held at the Trinity Church of the Nazarene in Perth on Wednesday.
Church minister the Rev Jim Ritchie said Ms Sullivan was relatively new to the congregation.
He said: “She was a warm and open person. Her mum came along with her a few times and we were glad to be getting to know her but I didn’t really know Jane well yet.
“She had been a teacher and was popular and committed to her job.”
He added: “We are praying for her and her family.”
