Police hunting the robber of a Dundee 68-year-old are investigating the possibility he was followed by his assailant.
The man suffered a graze to his right hand after being robbed while walking on the footbridge beside the Pitkerro Road roundabout at about 12.15am on Boxing Day.
The victim, who was wearing a distinctive green and red festive hat, was robbed of money, keys, a diary and gloves.
The suspect ran off in the direction of Old Craigie Road.
A Tayside Police spokeswoman said: “We are continuing with inquiries. This includes reviewing CCTV, carrying out door-to-door inquiries and establishing the movements of the victim prior to the incident.”
