A benefits fraudster who claimed more than £5,000 while working in a supermarket has been given more time to repay the money.
Perth Sheriff Court heard on Monday that Sharon Dawson had suffered difficulties in collecting the sum.
The 37-year-old, of Clayton Road, Bridge of Earn, admitted previously that between October 4 2006 and May 12 2009, she knowingly failed to notify officials at the Department for Work and Pensions of a change in her circumstances, which she knew would affect her income support allowance.
Dawson was working in the David Sands store in Bridge of Earn while she continued to claim benefits over 2 years.
Sentence was deferred until March 5 to enable repayment to continue and for Dawson to be of good behaviour.
