Heavy duty batteries have been stolen from temporary traffic lights at two locations on the Dundee-Angus border.
Motorists on the B954 Dundee-Alyth road had to venture cautiously past a section of roadworks near to Auchterhouse Country Sports on Thursday morning when they found the temporary traffic lights weren’t working.
It was later discovered their batteries had been stolen.
Earlier this week four heavy duty batteries were stolen from temporary traffic lights on the Dykes of Gray road running from the Landmark Hotel roundabout to Liff village.
Anyone with information on the two thefts should call 0300 111 2222.
