The Military Wags were the star attraction at a celebration of the armed forces in Stirling on Saturday. The choir, who topped the charts with Gary Barlow and their hit Sing, performed for hundreds of well-wishers at King’s Park. The city’s Armed Forces Day events also saw a Spitfire flyover, a parade of military personnel, a demonstration by the Royal Marines, a cadets drill competition and a police dogs display. Armed Forces Day is a Ministry of Defence initiative to honour and celebrate the work of the armed forces and those who support them.
