Woman admits lewd sex act in lifts of two Dundee multi-storey blocks

A woman has admitted engaging in a sex act in two Dundee multi-storey lifts.

Arlene McTaggart, 27, of Dallfield Court, admitted carrying out the offence on October 17 last year.

Her partner and co-accused Sean Smart, 24, of the same address, did not appear in court and no plea was lodged.

They were both charged with committing an offence of public indecency by engaging in a lewd sex act in public lifts at Bonnethill and Dallfield Courts.

The pair’s case called at the sheriff court on Friday, where McTaggart pled guilty to the offence and sentence was deferred until March 21.

She was ordained to appear.

Smart was not in court, but solicitor Paul Parker Smith appeared for him on behalf of another firm of solicitors.

He said he was not fully instructed and the case was continued to the same date and Smart was also ordained to appear.
