Broughty Ferry window fall woman being treated for broken bones

A 21-year-old woman who fell from a second-storey window on Fort Street, Broughty Ferry, on Friday was being treated for a number of broken bones over the weekend.
The woman, who was seen to climb out of the open window of the tenement across the road from the Fisherman’s Tavern, was rushed to hospital just after 3.15pm.
She was treated for a hip injury, leg injury and facial injuries.
Detectives were continuing their inquiries into the incident over the weekend, taking statements from witnesses.
Bystanders said they had seen the woman climbing out of the top-floor window and attempting to lower herself to the window below.
As one witness rushed across the road, the woman fell to the pavement below.
The rapid response team attended, backed up by an ambulance and police units.
