Solicitors raise £6,000 for Tayside asbestos charity

Staff from the Dundee office of solicitors Digby Brown have raised around £6,000 for Asbestos Action Tayside.
The money comes from teams that completed the Cateran Yomp, a “Big Curry Lunch”, a sale of home baking, a race night and a black tie dinner dance.
Sponsorship also came from family and friends and Gift Aid will boost the total. In the yomp four staff members managed the gold award of 52.1 miles and two the silver of 36 miles.
In total they walked 280.4miles. Digby Brown offer financial and administrative support to Asbestos Action Tayside, which provides assistance to the sufferers and families of sufferers of asbestos-related illnesses.
The yompers were Andrew Giel, Alasdair Dunlop, Caroline Brown, Craig Brown, Craig Snee and Jennifer Watson, with support from Jaclyn Beattie and Claudia Caswell.
Money from that effort will also go to the Army Benevolent Fund.
