Police in Dundee were called to a block of flats in the city centre on Thursday in relation to the sudden death of an Abertay University student.
Police today confirmed a 21-year-old woman had died.
They said inquiries are conitnuing but there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances
Officers were seen at the Opal student accommodation on Parker Street, behind the Dudhope roundabout, in the early afternoon on Thursday.
A single police car was parked at the complex gates until shortly after 7pm.
A spokesman for AbertayUniversity said: “We’re shocked and deeply saddened by this news, and we’re taking steps to provide staff and students affected by it with any support and counselling they might need.”
