Paul Jennings moved into the second round of the BDO World Darts Championship with a 3-1 defeat of higher-ranked Scot Ross Montgomery.
Jennings had a 103 finish and an 11-dart leg en route to taking the first set.
Montgomery, ranked BDO world No 5 and seeded six, levelled at 1-1 before taking a 2-0 lead in the third set.
However, the Englishman took the next three legs, including a 102 checkout, to take a 2-1 lead.
Jennings sealed the match in stunning fashion, a 14-dart leg taking the fourth set.
England’s third seed Scott Waites swept Dutchman Willy Van de Wiel aside, winning 3-0 to set up a meeting with Belgian Geert de Vos, who edged out Tony Eccles 3-2.
Eccles took the first set before his opponent took the next two.
The Englishman levelled again, but De Vos produced an 87 checkout, finishing on the bull, for a narrow victory.
