The organisers of the 2014 Ryder Cup have unveiled a prize for golf fans.
Each person who applies for a ticket for the contest, which takes place at Gleneagles, will also be entered into a draw for a money-can’t-buy experience.
For the first time in the event’s history, a Golden Ticket will be included in the ballot, which closes on July 22. Once the lucky winner has been chosen, European Ryder Cup team captain Paul McGinley will call them to break the news.
Also included in the prize package is a chaperoned clubhouse tour, reserved seats at the first tee, replicas of the Team Europe kit and a behind-the-scenes tour of the media centre, as well as a free match day ticket for the events applied for.
