Appeal to trace owner of abandoned car at Kinkell Bridge

Police have appealed for information after a car was found abandoned in Perthshire.

Officers are trying to trace the owner of a silver Renault Megane which was found parked near to Kinkell Bridge, Kinkell, Auchterarder, at around 8pm on Wednesday.

The vehicle’s engine was still running, and the car doors were unlocked.

Police believe the car may have been at that location since 5pm that evening when a man, described as approximately 40 to 50-years-old, was seen to leave the vehicle.

He is also described as 5’9” tall, of stocky build and with dark hair, and he was wearing a white or light coloured shirt and grey trousers.
