Britpop legends Cast will play Montrose in the autumn. The team behind the Montrose Music Festival have secured the band to perform at the Town Hall on Sunday, October 18. The band is made up of John Power, Liam ‘Skin’ Tyson, Pete Wilkinson and Keith O’Neill. The gig follows Montrose dates by Northern Irish indie group Ash on May 22 and Madness, who will play the East Links on July 5. ‘Baby Blue Eyes’ is the first track from the next as yet-untitled Cast album, which is currently being recorded. The event is for over-16s only, and tickets are on sale this morning from the See Tickets website.
