Bikers have been accused of plaguing a Dundee community by tearing through its streets at “dangerously high speeds”.
A number of complaints have been made by residents on Dunmore Street in Kirkton who have reported noise nuisance and a danger to motorists and pedestrians children in particular.
Strathmartine councillor Stewart Hunter said he was familiar with the problems posed by the bikers and pledged to speak to the police to see what could be done.
Police Scotland said it was working to tackle the antisocial and illegal use of motorbikes and said such behaviour was dangerous for those involved, as well as for pedestrians, other road users and anyone else nearby.
A spokeswoman said: “We would urge residents not to resign themselves to enduring this and instead contact us whenever it happens on 101.”
