Two people were checked by paramedics after a car crashed into a trolley bay at Asda in Dundee.
Police believe the driver pressed the accelerator instead of the brake and careered into the covered bay at Asda Kingsway East around 1.25pm.
The pair were checked by ambulance staff but were not badly injured.
The red Nissan had to be driven out of the bay by a member of the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue spokesman said: “We attended a road traffic collision. A car had crashed into the loading bay. There were two casualties who were turned over to the paramedics.
“We made the scene safe, although one person was initially stuck in the vehicle we did not use any equipment.”
The Scottish Ambulance Service confirmed they attended the incident but did not need to treat the car’s occupants.
A police spokesman said: “We attended a vehicle crashed at Asda Kingsway East. The female driver of the vehicle was trapped inside.
“It seems she had pressed the accelerator instead of the brake. A report will be submitted by ourselves.”
