Workers from the closure-threatened Tullis Russell paper mill in Markinch have spoken of anger and anguish at being made redundant.
Families with a century of employment between them were amongst those who attended an emergency trade union meeting in Glenrothes.
It came as Deputy First Minister John Swinney promised to “leave no stone unturned” as he chaired the first meeting of the Fife Taskforce following the announcement on Monday that the Markinch firm had gone into administration with the loss of 325 jobs.
Meanwhile, an entrepreneur couple were continuing discussions with administrators KPMG after declaring an interest in buying the operation.
