A light malfunction last Friday resulted in glass shattering on to the poolside and into the water, which forced the closure of Forfar Swimming Pool. A spokeswoman for Angus Council said it has reviewed the existing lighting operations to ensure that a similar incident does not happen again. The pool will close again on Tuesday, however, for work to replace all the light units on the poolside. “Thank you for your continuing patience over the pool down time,” the spokeswoman added.
