Three women in their 80s have been injured after a crash involving a car and lorry.
The women were in a Vauxhall Corsa when it was in collision with the lorry on the A75 near Castle Kennedy in Dumfries and Galloway at around 2.25pm yesterday.
An 80-year-old woman from Stranraer who was driving the car suffered broken bones in her neck and back, Police Scotland said.
Her two passengers, aged 81 and 82, had minor cuts and bruises. The lorry driver was not injured.
The road was closed while the women were freed from the car and the vehicles were removed from the road. The women were then taken to Galloway Community Hospital for treatment.
