JD Wetherspoon pub plan could mean 45 jobs for Leven
ByThe Courier Reporter
Pub chain JD Wetherspoon could deliver a major jobs boost for Leven after purchasing premises in the town.
The company has completed the purchase of the old Threeways Inn on North Street and is seeking planning and licensing permission to redevelop and extend the site.
No potential opening date has been mentioned as yet however, it is believed that as many as 45 jobs, both full and part-time, could be created if the company’s plans are carried through.
The possible redevelopment of the Threeways Inn is likely to please the local community after lying dormant for a number of years.
JD Wetherspoon already has three establishments in Fife.
