Two weeks of work begin on the A90 Brechin bypass today following £340,000 in Transport Scotland investment.
North and southbound surfaces will be repaired and road markings renewed in four phases, with a contraflow system directing traffic and a 50mph speed limit.
Phase one and two will be carried out at the north section at Trinity over a week.
The third and fourth phases will move to the south section of the bypass at St Annes.
Andy Thompson of BEAR Scotland said: “These works will repair a number of cracks, potholes and other defects which will improve the general condition of the road for motorists.”
