Forfar boss Dick Campbell warns that it’s just half-time

Forfar boss Dick Campbell used the old “it’s only half-time” line after his team’s superb win over Stranraer last night.

Goals from Omar Kader, Gavin Swankie and Kerr Hay gave the Loons a deserved 3-0 victory in the SPFL Championship play-off semi-final first leg at Station Park.

They are in a great position but there will be no complacency when they head down the road to Stair Park for the return on Saturday, according to Campbell.

He said: “I just want my team to play and we certainly did that tonight.

“I thought we deserved to win the game.

“I thought we could have been two or three up at half-time. I don’t think there is any doubt about that.

“It’s only half-time, though.

“We were very worthy winnersof the first half.

“We will show Stranraer respect and we are well aware of how tough opponents they will be on Saturday.”
