Man dies in early morning collision on A9 at Blair Atholl

A man has died in an early morning collision between a car and a lorry on the A9 at Blair Atholl.
The road wasclosed to all vehicles followingthe serious road traffic collision on Thursday morning.
The incident occurred around 2.30am and involved a lorry carrying 3,000 gallons of whisky.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said: “We were called to a road traffic collision between a car and a lorry on the A9 at Blair Atholl at 2:36am.
“Two appliances were sent from Pitlochry and Dunkeld.”
The road reopened at around 12pm.
