Kirrie pensioner incident not suspicious, say police

Police have confirmed there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding a Kirriemuir incident which left a 90-year-old in a critical condition in hospital.
The man had to be cut out of a caravan in the garden of his Muir Road home on Wednesday night after concerns were raised that he had gone missing.
Police cordoned off the street after the man was found injured lying in one of his caravans in the garden.
A Police Scotland spokesman said the man remained in a serious condition in Ninewells, but investigations had revealed that there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident.
