Workers at Blackhorn hamburger restaurant on Church Street created a mock documenary about incident. It begins with restaurant manager Storm Hughes explaining the tip jar was stolen around 8pm and that staff have “no leads” as to who took it. Other employees then discuss how they have used social media in a bid to find the jar. The video also mocks the staff themselves. Josh Fowler is billed as a “bald man” while employee Nick Durie mocks his manager’s first name. Matt Gibson, who came directed the video, said: “We thought about the situation and thought what was the best way of getting people sharing it. “It seems to have worked as people have asked if they can help. “We’re very busy on Saturday nights and it looks like while we weren’t looking somebody just snatched it.” He added that Storm takes the gentle ribbing about his name “really well”. Thevideohas now been watched nearly 10,000 times. Facebook user Sarah Felicity described the clip as “incredible”.
