A cottage lived in by the late singer Jean Redpath is on the market with a price tag of £650,000.
Traditional Scottish singer Redpath was regarded as one of the finest singers of the early British folk revival and made more than 50 records.
The Elie house where she lived is being sold by upmarket estate agent Savills, which described it as a charming, dream property.
Burnside, on The Toft, overlooks the Firth of Forth and is thought to date from the 18th Century.
The stone-built terrace is just along the coast from where Redpath was brought up in Leven before she moved across the Atlantic.
When she moved to New York she shared a flat in Greenwich Village with Bob Dylan and became a central figure in the 1960s American folk music revival.
Harry Maitland, of Savills, said there was already tremendous interest in the house.
He said: “This is just the sort of property people dream of finding, right in the heart of Elie, with the bonus of the garage and the privacy of the garden, and it has some of the best views in Elie.
“The Jean Redpath connection is the icing on the cake, if you like.”
Redpath, awarded the MBE in 1987, returned to Scotland in 1979 and lectured at Stirling University but continued to record and perform around the world.
She died last August at the age of 77.
